STEMgirls Club:

INTIATIVE FOR SCHOOLS

WHAT IS STEMGIRLS CLUB?

STEMgirls Club is an initiative that encourages students, specifically Year 9-10 girls, to retain their interest in science, technology, engineering and maths throughout their schooling and into apprenticeships or university. Schools will run 10 weekly clubs each term; delivered by a teacher at the school but resourced by STEMgirls club. The activities will equip teachers with materials that engage the girls in a wide range of different types of engineering that links to real life engineering careers. In addition to the club, the school will be invited to visit STEM businesses, be visited by female STEM role models and have first hand links with STEM businesses offering, work experience, apprenticeships and post graduate positions.
